The KLEEBLATT, a Helicopter Formation Team of the 2nd Squadron/ Flying Regiment 1, located at LANGENLEBARN, 25 kilometers northwest of VIENNA was formed in 1975 on the occasion of the 20 year-anniversary of the Austrian Air Force. Through the years the "Kleeblatt" presented its program at several national and international airshows, until it was disbanded in 1987.

In 1997 the 2nd Squadron was ordered to reactivate The KLEEBLATT and already in 1997 the newly-formed team presented its program at airshows in Switzerland, Austria, Slowakia and the Czech Republik.
